Unfortunately, Garison had an engagement that he couldn't cancel, so yesterday's recaps will be posted Monday. I would have covered him, but it's been a busy, busy day! A friend my wife's flew in last night, and she's here for the week. As such, all you're gonna git is Saturday's recaps, starting from 12AM Dtoid mean time!
In other news, I've been beating a ton of games that I've put off, or just completely missed at launch. I've just completed Assassin's Creed, Prince of Persia, Cave Story, Ghostbusters, Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, and X-Men Origins: Wolverine; and I'm currently working on Zeno Clash, Dead Space, Mass Effect, The Witcher, Half-Life 2 (omg!), Ninja Gaiden II (lost interest a while ago), COD4's single player, and Braid. All of these games I haven't beaten before. How do I accomplish this? One at a time folks, one at a time!
I also won a contest today!. Thanks to all who gave me a "congratulations" wish: I didn't expect to win!
This is one of the coolest fight scenes I've ever witnessed. I bought the movie on DVD pretty much for this scene:
Speaking of Harry Potter, I think Takeshi hates me because I ruined the ending of Half Blood Prince by jokingly spouting the popular "kill" meme in a random blog he read. Takeshi, I'm sorry!
LTE! Yes please! Universal Mind has always been one of my favorites. Do you have the "Evening with John Petrucci and Jordan Rudess"? If not, I'd highly recommend it.
Oh, right, there's a recap here! Thanks! Classy as always. And another congratulations on winning the contest! We're WINNERS.
Bleh, life can be a drag, but I suppose there are a lot of things you can't avoid. Ah well. Nice song choice, I dig the drums in that song. Actually, it sounds like something I'd hear from TMNT4: Turtles in Time, so that gives it some extra points.
I don't mind things Harry Potter, which I can't say for a good portion of my family. Most of my family are super religious and hate things that involve any form of magic. And they wonder why I usually prefer going to the theatre alone or with a buddy.
Also, Mag, I've been doing some drawing practice and I did a blog on it, and if it wasn't too much trouble, I'd like you to give it a look and tell me your thoughts on it. I figure you may have a better second opinion on these things than I do.
We don't share any games in our backlogs (at least we don't anymore now that you've beaten Zeno Clash) but I can't help but be reminded of my own which is too long and scary to list. I'll drop a few hints though, It starts with RE4 and includes FF12 and Morrowind. Too bad all I wanna do is play BlazBlue and the occasional XBLA game. =\
That's OK, man. It was just really hard to keep the spoilers away for such a long time. If it was in a blog about HP or something it wouldn't be too hard but some random blog... Yeah, I didn't see that one coming. I read all the comments on every single one so yeah, I couldn't protect myself from that. Which is basically the same for video games. Bioshock comes to mind. The whole "Atlas is..." meme kinda spoiled it for me.
But no worries man, you weren't the only one that spoiled it. And it's only Harry Potter.
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?

Thanks for putting me at Top Sauce! That made my day : D
Oh, you also won that contest, I dunno how I overlooked that, congrats.
Also, lol appreciate that comment on my page, Mag. I'll do what I can, man.
lol at the failtoid remark
@Kauza
Indeed I do! I'd highly recommend it to everyone else as well, and I might have a song from it in a future recap.
@Jack
Haha np. It was an awesome drawing
@Pascuz
Well it was a good article!
Speaking of my backlog above, I just beat Zeno Clash. It was a pretty fun 6 hours or so :D
@Kauza
I was just listening to that album over again, and I thought I'd ask: Do you like the band Yes by any chance?
WHo do you ask to be a reserve recapper around here ? Also, thank you for the recap.
@FalconReaper
Email Conrad :D

@Magnalon: You know it! Yes isn't necessarily among my absolute favorites, but Close to the Edge and Fragile are fantastic albums.
