Last night I was unfortunately unable to post the recaps, due to the fact I was a little intoxicated, so I have rolled the entire weekend recap into this one blog. I hope no one minds, but I don't think anyone will because there was a lot of great stuff to read this weekend on the cblogs. I mean just look at the size of that Topsauce section. It's awesome to see so many great blogs being written on the weekends.

I don't know about you, but I had a great weekend. First of all, I had my 100th blog post promoted to the front page, which is pretty awesome. It's only my 3rd blog to ever get promoted, so I guess I have a 3% promotion ratio. I'm not sure if that's good or bad.

Anyways, besides that my girlfriend and I went to the AT&T store to upgrade our cell phones to the new iPhone 3GS this weekend. Unfortunately there were out of stock, so we have to go back later this week to pick ours up, but we are pretty excited. We have both wanted an iPhone for a really long time now, so it will be nice to finally own one. Now I just have to wait for the Desctructoid iPhone app to come out. Is anyone even working on one? If not they should be. Get on that Neiro!

I also beat X-Men Origins: Wolverine this weekend on the XBOX360. That game was pretty damn cool. I wish the movie had been more like the game. An R-rated Wolverine movie would have been so bad ass. Unfortunately I don't think that will ever happen, unless Quentin Tarantino gets a hold of the movie rights. Oh wow, can you guys imagine a Tarantino Wolverine flick? That shit would be off the hook!

Ok now time for the racaps ....

Basically, when you said "my 100th blog post promoted to the front page" I thought you meant you had 100 blogs posted on the front page. lol

Nice recap boy. I approve of recaps in general.

Tanks for the recaps!

Dude I also JUST finished Wolverine and was thinking the EXACT same thing: I wish this was the movie! Seriously, the epic Gambit rooftop battle was awesome.

Congratulations on your FP promotion and numerical cblog milestone!

I'd be all for a Quentin Tarantino / Robert Rodriguez X-Men movie! Coincidentally, I've always thought Wet (which absolutely does look amazing!) has looked like a Tarantino/Rodriguez film-to-game incarnation. That's definitely shaping up to be a promising title.

So, I just purchased tickets for PAX and I'm booked to go. You should realize that you're obligated to join in on some after-hours dtoid festivities and shenanigans! Y0j1mb0 needs to heed this call to arms as well...

Since I was busy all weekend this "one recap to rule them all" thing you pulled off here was most appreciated.

Many blogs, little fail, interesting reads, what a grand weekend it was. Also, X-Men Origins: Wolverine was indeed great, I've never experienced a moment as awesome as the entire Sentinal boss fight. Cool stuff there.

A slightly late recap is better than a slightly intoxicated recap, which is in turn better than a very intoxicated recap. Will have to catch up on everything tomorrow--going to be quite the task. Many thanks for the recap.

Yo mate! Check out Expedia for some bitchin' good deals right now. I just booked last week, with hotel included, and between possumwrangler and I, we saved like $400 USD, and our airfare roundtrip was like ~$275 USD

The weekends are usually quite slow. I think you could do a double recap every week. But whatever you do, it is always appreciated.

Wow, never thought a caffeine-fueled story thing I wrote would make the list. Kudos to you, good sir. Now I have to ponder whether or not to continue it.

Another site that I like to keep an eye on is airfarewatchdog. other sites just have robotic trawlers, but this one find deals that airlines aren't exactly being open about.
