Unfortunately Garison can not bring you your regularly scheduled recaps this evening, so I will be filling in for him instead. I kind of owe him one since he covered for me all of last weekend when I was stuck at work and couldn't do the recaps. Yes let's talk about last weekend shall we. Actually let's talk about the last two weeks. I put in around 140 hours at work the last two weeks, including all of last weekend, in order to meet a huge project deadline. After all that hard work I had actually managed to not only meet my schedule, but to exceed it, so I was in a great mood. Then I got to work today and my manager informed me that last night a meeting was held in which the entire project was CANCELED!!!

Suffice to say, I was not in the best of moods the rest of the day. If only you could have seen the look on my face when my manager told me. My jaw just dropped like a rock. I decided at that point that it was probably best I take the rest of the day off, so I went home at noon and spent the rest of the day playing Beyond Good & Evil. That managed to cheer me up, but I'm still pretty bummed. I essentially spent the last 14 days straight waking up, working 14 hours, and then going to bed. Luckily for me I love my job, but still. No one wants to put in that much hard work only to have it all completely thrown away. Ok that's enough for now. Let me step down from my soap box.
