I went and saw Monsters vs. Aliens this weekend. Has anyone else seen it yet? I personally thought it was just ok. It was a little bit more of a kids movie then I thought it would be, which was unfortunate. Pixar seems to be the only animated studio right now that can seem to find the right mix between adult and kid friendly movies. Oh well. If you haven't seen it, but you're thinking about it, I recommend waiting until the DVD comes out.

So now onto the community and the recaps. For the most part, today was another dreadful Sunday. A couple of people wrote up some good stuff, but for the most part there was a lot of fail going around today. As you can see, the Failtoid section is FULL of blogs for you to take a gander at. The most amusing blog of the day was from a GameStop employee who actually attempted to defend GameStop and it's business practices. You should check it out and decide for yourself whether he did a good job or not. Try not to be too insulted by him when you read his blog though.

Good recap, btw. There is something I wondered about the recappers. Do they hate slow blog days, fast blog days with a lot of fail in them or do they hate both equally?

Also, I did have an idea for a blog or two today but college work caught up to me and after I did enough to not worry about my terrible procrastination, I went out to see Fast and Furious. It was alright, about 110 minutes of racing, Vin Diesel, drugs, crashes and more Vin Diesel. Mindless action at its best.

@JackMaverick: I think you will get different answers depending on which recapper you ask. On the busier days you are likely to get more fail, but you also likely to get a lot of awesome blogs as well, which can help you to forget all the fail blogs. I recap Saturday's and Sunday's, which are typically slow days. When there are a lot less blogs it's a lot easier for the fail blogs to make a bad impression on the day.

The reason I like being a recapper, is because I enjoy filtering out the good from the bad and letting people know what they should be reading, and what they should be bypassing. It's just always an easier job when there it's lots of good stuff and less bad stuff.
