I have a confession to make. Apparently I'm the slowest Mass Effect 2 player on the planet. I'm a little over 30 hours in, and I still have at least 5 hours of gameplay left. Most of my friends have already beaten the game, and they did so in well under 30 hours with 100% completion. I don't know what I'm doing wrong to be going so slow, but I don't really care. I love this game so much it's not funny. I honestly don't want it to end at this point. I just want the game to go on and on and on.

I need to beat Mass Effect 2 though soon, because the unplayed games are starting to pile up on my shelf. I already pre-purchased Bioshock 2, and I'm also buying the new Blaster Master Overdrive this week for the Wii. It will be the first WiiWare game I've ever bought actually. I should be reviewing it for Gamer Limit, so you can look for that review to be up on the site later this week.

Besides the new games I keep buying, I still have 5 or 6 games from this past Fall which I still haven't played. What happened to the good old days when nothing was released in the first quarter, allowing you to catch up on all the games you missed from the previous year. Those days are long gone, and with them my ability to keep up with the avalanche of new releases. Oh well, I guess I'll have to deal with it and figure out a way to catch up.

Yeah I'm not getting any new games for a while so I've been seriously dragging out ME2. At first I felt pressured to rush beat it when the blogs were lit up with ME bananza but now not so much. I'mma stretch this bitch out until I can find some friends to, ya know, hang out with...help through tough times...maybe borrow some games.

I took about 30 hours for my first ME2 playthrough. I'm sure the fact that I listened to damn near everything that every person in that game had to say surely contributed to the long playtime, but I liked it that way.

Er, yeah...try 67 hours. Every sidequest, scanning mission, missed 1 or 2 upgrades (where is that damn 2nd Krogan armor upgrade?!), I have over 100k of every element left over except Element Zero which is at around 70k, everyone survived and no faq cheating. So, yeah, you're blazing through it relatively lol. But, Mass Effect 2 deserves to be savored; I saw some dumbass online somewhere beat it in 13 hours. What a waste, damn kids today with their interwebs and spoiler-laden video previews, bah, no sense of wonder or discovery. *shakes fist*

It's okay, I'm taking my sweet ass time with ME2 as well. I got a late start since I wanted to hurry and beat ME1 first, but that's still not an excuse for the fact that after almost a week's time I still haven't even gotten every party member yet (I haven't even checked the rest of the dossiers the Illusive Man sent me, the last party member I got was Thane).
