Welcome to another exciting edition of the weekend cblog recaps. I'm your host, SilverDragon1979, and I'll be your guide on your wonderful journey through the heart of the Destructoid community. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to ask. Also, make sure you keep your hands and feet inside the moving webpage.

Now that that's out of the way, I thought I would mention that I sat down and watched the Halo Legends DVD this weekend. I'm writing a review of it for Gamer Limit, and I have to tell you all that I was pretty impressed for the most part. The DVD consists of 7 short stories, most of which are 15 minutes long, and anyone who's a Halo fan will definitely get a kick out of them. I don't even consider myself a Halo fan and I enjoyed them quite a bit.

I also played a beat Master Blaster Overdrive this week. Unfortunately I had little to no fun playing the game. There were sections of the game so hard that I threw my WiiMote across the room on more than one occasion. Suffice to say, it won't be getting a good review from me, which actually should be posted tomorrow on Gamer Limit.

Now I'm playing Bioshock 2. I'm only about 2 hours in, but so far I'm not impressed at all, which is pretty disappointing. All my friends really enjoyed it though, so I have my fingers crossed that it eventually gets better. Did anyone else play the game? Did you enjoy it?

Bioshock 2 for me didn't really click until well into the experience. I still didn't really love it, but I was pleased with where the story went eventually.

The category that my blog should of been would be 'Contemplations'. That or Failtoid if you didn't agree or had an issue with what was said. For it to be classified as "?" is retarded, Shawn.

Oh I didn't come up with the term that way. I needed a new name for xbox live and wanted something like the guys in that Tom Cruise airplane movie. I thought of Maverick and Ace first, looking around I saw Bullseye on a Daredevil comic. Bullseye was taken, but it suggested randombullseye and a couple other goofy things like lightingbullseye. That's the origin.

I just needed something fun to publish.

I personally don't have an opinion one way or another about the whole CoD Vietnam news post header controversy that occured yesterday on Dtoid. I think the whole thing is commical.

The reason your post was put in Othertoid was because I simply had no idea where to put it, hence the ? status. I simply forgot that we have a Contemplations in the Communitoid section, otherwise I would have put it there. Now that you've pointed it out to me though, I have moved it.

If it was up to me, there would simply be a Yojimboisms section where I would put all your stuff.

I think I'll likely wait and pick up Bioshock 2 later. I really enjoyed the first game, but I have no interest in Bioshock 2's multiplayer so I'll sit down with the single player later when I have more time. I've heard several people say it starts out quite slow... and that's usually a game killer for me. :(

@Elsa: It's not so much slow as maybe more frustrating than it should be. For being a big daddy, you can get your ass handed to you a little too easily. Once you get past that initial hump, it's a real fun game and a Rapture 10 years down the road, slowly decaying and being taken by the sea is a beautiful place to wander through.
