So, last week, I talked about my friend making a badass Bowser glass piece. That same friend has asked me into the studio tonight to help him out with his next project: the 3 main characters of AAAAH! Real Monsters. Holy shit am I excited! Also, this week, our school has had an old-world (read: Italian born-and-raised) glass "maestro" come in and make glass while people observes. The guy's name is Elio Quarisa, and he makes some of the most beautiful pieces I've ever seen. Check this out:

Yeah, he's been in the shop all week, making stuff like this, and, for some reason, humming "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" all the time. I fucking love this dude.
