I'd like to talk about Motorstorm: Pacific Rift. Its so much more fun than the original, mainly due to the 4 elemental zones adding a bit more structure to the Festival mode. Also getting a nice overhaul is the online mode, its not a lie to say that I've spent almost as much time online as off and that never happens to me in a racing game. It just so happens that being middle of the pack in Motorstorm is the most fun place to be. Also the AI racers are insanely aggressive, possibly the best fighting AI since Burnout 3 and its had my roommate cursing many times when his weak ass bike is barged off the nearest cliff by the nearest proper vehicle. Honestly, I saw him trying to get past a buggy which was swerving all over the track to block his every attempt. Brilliant. He also doesn't quite get that when a buggy's rear wheel is slammed into a rock at around 70mph it is probably going to come off.

If you're not hooked on Valkyria Chronicles then raise your hand. You're officially a minority on DToid now. Everyone is playing that game. If it had multiplayer then we'd be blowing each other up there instead of on Resistance 2.

Also, like Pendelton said yesterday. The Recap Team is looking for a few good Dtoiders to join us for either a permanent spot on the week team or just as a reservist to cover when we can't make our days. For reference purposes know that a full recap takes about 1-2 hours to write if you're doing it all just before the deadline like me tonight. Smarter people probably incrementally add to it throughout the night. Its your community duty so hit up Captain Conrad for the details. Contrary to previous details you don't need a driver's licence or $200. Though both are no doubt helpful. Yeah, people actually emailed Conrad believing in the $200 thing.
