I have been playing a lot of games this past week. First of all, I started and beat Halo 3: ODST in essentially one sitting. It took me around 8-9 hours, but I went around and collected all 30 audio logs, which really extended the play time. Over all I think its an enjoyable game with a really unique story experience, but it doesn't do anything new that the Halo series hasn't done before. Because of this, I would score it some where between a 7 and an 8. Only serious Halo fans need apply.

I'm also pretty pissed that the Firefight mode doesn't have an online matchmaking option. I don't know about you, but I don't have many friends who plan on buying Halo 3: ODST, so I don't really have anyone to play it with. It would be nice if the game gave me the option to quickly find a group of people to play with. Epic included this option for Horde mode in Gears of War 2 and it works great. How could Bungie neglect to put this feature in the game. They really dropped the ball on this one in my opinion.

I also got a PSPgo this week, thanks to my incredibly awesome girlfriend, so I've been playing around with that a lot. So far I've purchased and played God of War: Chains of Olympus and Patapon 2. Both games absolutely rock. If anyone has any PSP games they would recommend I play, please let me know.

This week I'll be playing and reviewing Dead Space: Extraction. If you are interested you can look for my review soon up on Gamer Limit. Ok let's get to the recaps shall we.

Dude, if you like RPGs I would reccomend Persona, and obviously Patapon 2 (and if you really like it Patapon 1), if you like rhythm games get Guitaroo Man Lives and import Project Diva. Oh and Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII if you are into that sort of thing.

Also, if I had ODST I would totally play with you :)

Not sure if I have you on Xbox LIVE, but my gamertag is garison25. Maybe sometime I'll play something with you :)

Speaking of Dead Space, I replayed the original this weekend. Did you know there's a game killing bug towards the very end of the game? When you drag around that marker, there's a point where it refuses to move because the bug tells it that the blast door is still closed. This happens slap bang before the final boss and is still there when you reload the game!

I also found out this weekend that Left 4 Dead's Crash Course on the 360 is buggy as hell too. I must have gotten Jumping Jack Slash and won Versus mode TWICE and it didn't give up the goods.

It's been bust for me games-wise this weekend.

@ Silver Dragon.

In terms of PSP games I would recommend, probably resistance retribution, the syphonfilter's, and FF 7: Crisis Core. I also herd from a friend that the new Soul Calibur game is amazing, I have yet to play it. Going back to resistance and syphonfilter though, the controls are a bit awkward. You use the face buttons to control the aim and if your used to playing console third person shooters it can really seem inaccurate. Luckily they have a targeting system. The over all experience is pretty good though. Also Rock Band unplugged is great, now that I think about it. I dont know whats up on the Playstation store, but maybe you would want to check out Metal gear solid: Portable Ops, if your a hard core MGS fan, if not I would pass it. This is coming from a hard core MGS fan as well. Anyways that's a short list, but the best PSP game I have played to date is God Of War hands down. So you did good in buying that game.
