This week I've been doing two things as far as videogames are concerned. Firstly reminding myself that for all the glorious storytelling, excellent characters and open ended gameplay, Deus Ex is brutally hard. I can't remember the last time I died this much on a first mission. Still a brilliant game though.
Secondly it's the pure primal joy of 100% levels. Yes I've finally gotten around to making good on my promise to buy the game when I met Joe Danger devs Hello Games at Eurogamer Expo last year and damn if it's not addictive. The Trials HD effect is well in place, every level must be done perfectly until standards slip and you just can't do it anymore.
Current "Bloggers Wanted" assignment Better With Age E3-hype has died down, so let's talk about those oldies that are still great. Which games do you replay over and over again, while only finding yourself enjoying them more each time?
Band of Bloggers: Open Range Go to any open world you can think of, but be sure to come back with a story to tell! Aside from the traditional review or retrospective route, try to create something unique! Detail what makes the world you explored so interesting and how it stands out, compare and contrast similar worlds, create a story of your own in that world.
