Ever since Bit.Trip Core was released this week, it's been pretty much all I've been playing. Even though Core shares a similar look with Beat, the gameplay is completely different. The developers really weren't lying when they said it's a more traditional rhythm game, as it takes a lot more practice to be good at. In Beat, you could get by with just sort of winging it, and going by reflexes, but not the case in Core.

I almost finished the game today. I can get to the last boss on the third stage, but everything just seems really random, with notes coming out from every which direction at once, and there is no videos of the boss on YouTube yet, so I can't get help there. But seriously, the game is freaking amazing, Gaijin really has a winner on their hands when it comes to their Bit.Trip series.
