As for community contests? Hmm...depending on how old the stuff is, people show off their retro collection and whoever has the nerdiest stuff wins?

Heh, sorry indeed. Fun times, but from my experience MUDs are far more addictive than WoW could ever be. They're free too, so you don't have the cost as a reason to quit.
