GAMES OF THE WEEK EDITION

This week, I almost finished Assassin's Creed 2. Almost. I had gotten onto one of the last chapters when the game decided to freeze, sending me back a few chapters. So much for the almighty auto-save. I can't be bothered going through another 2 hours of the annoying-as-hell controls, crappy missions and the feather sidequest, so I will be trading it in ASAP.

A friend of mine lent me his copy of The Neverhood. It's a fun, quirky little game that I've been enjoying playing. The story is surprisingly deep and it keeps you guessing. You probably won't be able to get a copy on the cheap anymore, so I'd advise you to watch a walkthrough on Youtube or something. You need to experience this game.

Also, I got SoulSilver, which I spent most of yesterday playing. It's obvious how I feel about the game, so I won't go too far into it. PLease PM me if you want to battle sometime!

Oh, a special shoutout to FalconReaper, who managed to reply quickly to one of my tweets. Keep up those lightning reflexes!

... your experience with AC2 is very close to my experience with the first game. I too had PS3 freeze and had to re-do a mission and I just really had no interest.. so the game got traded! Wonderful graphics... but I found the game play just wasn't my thing. :(

I've just started Assassins Creed II and I'm in love with it. I guess I shouldn't say 'just' as I played in two marathon sessions of 14 hours each. It has become one of my favourite games. I've got quite a long way to go so it might be premature to call it that. But no, I'm certain. I can easily see it not being a game for everybody, however it is for me.
