Quick question, if me and RonBurgandy (the dtoider) had a fight, who do you think would win? Because I'm genuinely afraid that it'll only take one or two snide jabs at Dtunes until he actually jumps on a plane to England and kicks. My. Ass. The boy looks like he throws a hard punch.

Moving to happier things, I got R-Type Dimensions today. I've been cleaning ever since as I'd just got out the shower. Only the demo for now though until I get paid tomorrow and can pick up some MSP, I went to play R-Type Final in the meantime.

Also, a friend on a gameshow website sent me a link to a scottish kids channel that's showing a brilliant gameshow from my own 'childhood'. I'm only 20, I shouldn't be using that word. So a finishing question, how many of your childhood gameshows do you think still stand up as good shows today?

Oh and for your question, almost no shows hold up. Even the 90's X-Men cartoon, which was the best thing ever when I was a kid, are pretty much unwatchable now. Epic fail.

UmarifficCKizzle, you TAKE THAT BACK! The X-men cartoon is still the shit. You just have to appreciate kitsch, or camp, or one of those vague words used to describe weird shit.

What about the one where Wolverine runs away to Alaska and Sabertooth tracks him down and Wolverine is a pimp with all the Eskimo ladies and that Eskimo guy gets jealous and becomes a traitor and tells Sabertooth and then Wolverine and Sabertooth fight and then everything's back to normal at the end? Huh?

Also, R-Type Dimensions made me realize how much I blow at shmups. I died like 100-120 times getting through R-Type 1 and 2.

Haha Char. Last year I not-downloaded the entire series, and started watching them again, and for the first four episodes were completely lost. The storytelling jumped all over the place, and there were no real transitions from what I remember.

And even though the Spider-Man animated series was just as cheesy, it was easily the more coherent and solid of the cartoons.

Though I would be willing to give the X-Men cartoon another chance, due to my undying nerd love of comics and specifically the X-Men.

Have you seen Spider-Man lately, with those CG sequences flying through the city? They have not aged well at all, but were mind-blowing to me at the time.

How about the Iron Man cartoon from that era? It's horrendous, but good for a laugh if you listen to the pseudo-scientific lingo they throw around.

The Avengers, Iron Man, Incredible Hulk, Spider Man, X-Men - all this crap shows up on the Toon Disney, if you have that channel.
