Saturday I turned thirty-eight years old. That means two years from now this gaming samurai will be forty. When I was the age of twenty, I never imagined that I still would be playing videogames at this age , let alone be even more passionate for the genre. I've seen my favorite pastime grow leaps and bounds yet like with everything there's so much more growth that it could and will accomplish. I remember daydreaming about owning games that were in the arcades in the confines of my abode. That has happened. I imagined playing people from all over the world online. That has happened. I wished new ways of playing videogames altogether. That has happened. What will the next thirty-eight years in the future of videogames bring to us very spoiled cynical jaded gamers?

Like in my ignorant youth, I can only imagine... except now I know my love for videogames isn't a passing fancy and I can't wait to see it happen.
