Comic books, do you read them? No seriously, do you read comic books? I've always been a Marvel guy myself. Not that I hate DC, I just like Marvel more. Superhero comic books are fun, but my favorite ones seem to feature less spandex these days. Like Transmetropolitan, Preacher, or The Walking Dead. Yeah, I still read a ton of super hero books, but those three are great examples of non-superhero comics. It seems like most people who hear comic book think superhero.

Still the best comic book to pick up right now is "The Boys" published by Dynamite. Only somewhat related to super heroes. The Boys is a mature audience title about a secret government agency that investigate super heroes. Some really great stuff in there. If you think Sam Jackson as Ultimate Nick Fury was a great comic cameo, wait until you see who the main character of The Boys looks like. I'm guessing you're a fan of Sean of the Dead or Hot Fuzz, so you'll notice the similarity quickly.

If you want something else to read, pick up The Walking Dead. If you like zombie stuff at all, you should be reading The Walking Dead. I've been with it for a long time, great series. If I bought people gifts, I would buy them the first trade paperback of The Walking Dead. It is still ongoing, so be sure to take a look!

I like King of the Hill. As silly as most cartoons are, King of the Hill grounds things more in reality. Not as good as Beavis and Butthead, but then compare Idiocracy to Office Space. Did any of you guys even SEE Idiocracy?
