C-C-C-C-blogs of 11/21, also starring Striderisms!

I'm hating this week so much.

Amount of hours was the last thing I was concerned with at work. But I have 35 hours this Thanksgiving week. I have 35 hours of work, a lack of feedback on the Fapcast, a disappointing game release, and 8 hours of driving to get through this weekend.

Let's start with the Fapcast. I spent an entire night editing it because we lost a track so I inserted fake voices to hold it up. What do I see for a whole night of devotion? ONE COMMENT. Well fuck, have we plateaued? Because editing this thing takes a lot of personal time. I'd love to use it on other things but nope! I'm using it staring at a screen and mixing audio levels!

Speaking of using time, I'm not used to working 3 days of 7 hour shifts in a row. I phrase it that way because you probably work long hours. But this is a part-time job, so fuck, where does the PART-TIME thing factor in? Jesus Mickey Mouse, you're a slave driver!



So games? I like diving back into BLOPS zombies. It even has rank progression now! But I bought the collector's edition of Adventure Time: Hey Ice King why'd you steal our garbage? I wasn't expecting something great but at least something good. But this? I bought this game yesterday and I beat it today. Probably less than 10 hours. I sat down less than 6 times with the intention of playing it. There are numerous other flaws I can forgive as far as a mediocre game goes. But I felt this length was inexcusable. And all I have now is New Game+. And the Collector's Edition.

Meanwhile, I'm looking forward to getting home and blasting hundreds of zombies after riding the bus across a god forsaken highway. Not to mention score streaks are a pretty ok way of earning our longtime killstreaks. I mean, sentry gun is finally good!

This week has been a little frustrating. I'll probably drive 4 hours to see my girlfriend and just spend the whole sleeping in bed with her, sleeping off this tough as balls week.

Be sure to check out episode 5 of the Fapcast because I don't think anyone caught our community question. I hope episode 6 is easy for once. Or maybe we won't do it. It's been a moody week. Plus I'm going to see my girlfriend Saturday. Do I have time? Historically, no, I don't have time. FOR ANYTHING.

A - How long would you wait to get paid? Hopefully being an indie game dev attached to XBLIG isn't your main bread and butter in that case
