I hope everyone has had a happy 4th of July weekend, lighting off fireworks and eating lots of hamburgers and hotdogs. I actually threw a huge party last night with tons of food, friends, and alcohol, but I spent today just relaxing and being lazy. I did manage to get out of my house to see Toy Story 3 for the second time. That movie is freakiní awesome, and if you havenít seen it yet you need to go RIGHT NOW! Donít wait, just get up from your computer and go to the theatre immediately.
So I wanted to bring up a major problem Iíve been having lately. I think I played way to many games in a short period of time at E3 and wore myself out. In other words I think Iíve had a major gaming overload and blown a fuse or something, because ever since Iíve gotten back I havenít been able to play a single video game. I started both Alan Wake and Red Dead Redemption before I left for LA, but Iíve had no desire to pick them back up again to complete them. I even bought Dragon Age: Origins a couple days ago from the big Steam Summer Sale, but I donít even want to play that. What is the matter with me? I need help guys. What should I do?
I have gotten back into reading lately, so that could be whatís stopping me from playing games. Iíve also been writing a lot more lately, so that could be a culprit as well. It does help that there arenít any real good games coming out right now, so itís a great time to take a break from gaming. I do know this drought will come to an end on July 27th when Starcraft II comes out. Iíve put down $100 for the collectorís edition of that game, so you can be damn sure Iím gonna be playing it.
Well thatís enough about me for one night. Letís get you to your regularly schedules weekend recaps.
