Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
But, because of the buzz/hooplah this intro has been getting, I actually watched this week's episode. I wish I hadn't - it's still bland.
They¡¯re working on a Insainity Workout Reviews protection P90x that has the Abercrombie And Fitch to P90x Workout stores like the WSJ P90x Reviews!
I don't know how you can even vaguely put her in the category of GaGa except for the fact that she's a popular female musician of the last 3 years.
Her singing style, yea, but her showmanship style is trying to capitalize on GaGa - vaguely.
But she's a young Kylie Minogue soul stealer mostly.
For being in Stereotoid, I'd expect better from you! =P She's an ugly piece of garbage singer who is a talentless hack, and comparing her to Kanye is also very insulting, as it would be to comparing her to Gaga! But then again, EVERYONE who is new is the next <insert popular singer> and all! She's garbage, and The Simpsons, while I applaud them for doing something like this, has been garbage since like 1999, as I've watched like 3 episodes since then and have regretted all of them. /end rant Also, no post on my latest haul? A little surprised good sir! =P
I'm just apathetic towards the Simpsons now, especially with King of the Hill canceled.
Now, does anyone remember/miss The PJ's?
haha they still transmit the PJs in Adult Swim. Many previously cancelled shows seem to have moved to Cartoon Network.
I hate Ke$ha. Don't know where you got the impression otherwise. I can have an intelligent discussion on her musical style without condoning it. Also, Kayne West, Lil' Wayne, and Courtney Love all suck so I think that's a far comparison.
C'mon Funktastic! Let's be professional JOURNALISMS ova' here!
You didn't write shit. Don't try to pull a fast one on me.
@Everyone else
C'mon, seriously? I thought the intro was hilarious and creative. It was the first time the show ever changed the intro so heavily.
Fapped for caps!
Maybe this is a double-meaning thing, saying that the people behind the show know their time is almost up. :E
So I'm not the only one still liking The Simpsons. Thank goodness.
As always, these caps are the bee's knees.
/fap
As can I good sir. I just am not a fan or her, nor the very old and stale Simpsons and all. Plus, Kanye, while as a person may be a douche, is a pretty damn talented music artist yo! I'll agree with you on Lil Wayne and like post first Hole CD Courtney Loev, but to lump Kanye with those two would be unfair. It's just like you don't have to like Lady Gaga, but her musical talent and all is nothing short of sensational.
@MEGASTRYKE
The comment post thing was aimed at XZYLIAC, as he usually posts on my haul blogs and I was making reference that he didn't on my last one! =P
Sorted.
Simpsons, You used to be ok...
Are you implying that I like Ke$ha again? I MUST PUT THESE LIES TO REST!!!
Also, Kayne still sucks. And is a douche but still sucks. I don't recognize his talent because I don't see it.
And while I don't like her music I think Love is a fascinating character. I saying she reminded me of Love so much in her music as much as her attitude. Young Courtney Love.
As far as I'm concerned, the only good Simpsons would be series 4,5 and 6.
Though, certainly, the Phil Hartman years have some of my favorite and most memorable moments.
I appreciate them doing that even if it wasn't intentional. Made me smile either way.
