I've been working on a musing for this month's topic, as I've had a little more free time without school to worry about. I won't post it tonight, as I wouldn't feel right about topsaucing my own work... I'll leave that to my colleagues to decide. It's been fun though, so I've decided I'm going to start working backwards through the Monthly Musings topics over the summer, doing one for each of the topics I've missed in reverse chronological order. I shall call them-- Retro Musings. If anyone would like to join me in delving into the past, I heartily invite them to do so. It's always nice to have company.

*-Teta's cry for help was answered with bazooms. It's poetic, in a way.
*-Tubatic wrote eloquently in favor of the neutral path. Read it, unless you're too busy drinking penguin blood from a baby's skull or setting up an orphanage for crippled puppies.
*-It's-a me! (Dude. Lawsuit) Oh. Uh... Marco! Marco....Roni! Yeah, that'll work.
*-DocHaus points out what a crappy ninja Ryu really is.

A-Jack Maverick wrote a lengthy article about Persona 4. Unfortunately I had to pass it up due to the spoiler warning at the top.
A-This is a Games Time Forgot article in all but title: ErbilT wrote about the spiritual sequel to Strider called Osman, or Cannon Dancer in Japan.
S-Gemsi's weekly European release list has a little more meat on it than last week.
A-Kauza took an amusing look at lootin' stuff.
S-Mr. Dillinger's Weapon of Choice series takes a look at everything from The Darkness to Aussie pee in a jar in this update. Have I mentioned that I like this series?

No contests today. Here's the new sound files for TF2's Sniper and Spy!!

E-There was a movie night tonight, Rider Chop was showing Lupin and Labyrinth. You know, David Bowie is in every game.
I-Kezziebeat loves the Gameboy whole bunches, and uses them to make chiptunes. Welcome to Destructoid!
I-Welcome to Loogibot, who introduced himself by declaring love for Metal Gear: Ac!d. He's been drinking acid if the picture of his tongue is any indication.
B-Happy birthday to Suitcoat Avenger, who wrote one of his very good scattershot thought blogs in celebration.
B-Happy birthday wishes also go out to Laurence Tureaud. Really? That's his name? No wonder he goes by Mr. T. You could say that I have sympathy for the poor fellow.
B-Pendleton managed to cheat the reaper for another year...
B-So he got blitzed...
B-...and drunk posted a couple blogs. Happy Birthday!

N-The Kojima Productions teaser site changed a bit. Kojima-san continues to play the gaming press like a virtuoso violinist.
V-Phantom Spaceman posted the new Arkham Asylum trailer that hit today. DO WANT.
R-WashedUpGamer reviewed UFC 2009: Undisputed for the 360.
T-WW3PL wanted to know why the Halo games are so popular. This simple question provoked a LOT of discussion... oddly, much of it was about Team Fortress 2.
$-Daedhead8 is guilt-free thanks to Good Old Game's racer sale. Much <3 for that site.
T-Suitcoat Avenger shares some thoughts about the Onlive service and how mods just wouldn't work with it.
N-TewDee posted the updates for Team Fortress 2, they're now available on the PC.
V-Xbudz posted video of the upcoming 1 vs. 100 for Xbox Live.
R-Dai the Flu reviewed Sacred 2 for the PS3.
T-HappyHead compared the 16-bit Tiny Toons games side by side. Remember when consoles had exclusive games that weren't first party? Also... that is the longest blog title I have ever seen.
R-Brass wrote quite a bit about COD4: Modern Warfare, taking care to point out the similarities the main villian has to Rasputin. Come to think of it, a game played from Rasputin's perspective could be interesting. And Psychonauts doesn't count.
$-Amazon's deal of the day was Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume. Shawn Kelfonne thinks it's a good bargain.
R- Covah reviewed Terminator:Salvation. The game.

F-Conversely, Cowzilla reviewed Terminator: Salvation. The movie, not the game.
M-Quantum Zombie checked in to let us know that the inFAMOUS soundtrack is now available on iTunes. Maybe I should spell it iNFAMOUS?
S-Nilcam recieved his Neo Geo stick and this blog provides pictures of the unboxening.

L-Brando's post about idiots and motorcycles is very, very NVGR, but BrainDerailment helped with the funny.
V-FrankHowley posted the latest Mega64 sketch about Wolverine. I didn't think the movie was that bad. It was no Star Trek, but not much can aspire to that level.
C-While I appreciate that this is a first effort, it could use some serious cleaning up. Make sure to preview your posts before setting them live.
C-We don't mind developers making Cblogs to tell us about their games, but this just seems like an advertisement-- and those we don't much care for.

S-Oh no you don't. The cat is HERE, sir.

I know I'm in the minority, but I think I preferred the old system for unlocks. Apart from every jackass with an account playing the same class, I didn't have any problem with the secondary weapons being tied to achievements. Tonight however, I played for about 3 hours and didn't unlock a thing.

Ahaha, awesome choice of video!

Dominated you fatso-ass fat headed fat man!
You die as you live, morbidly obese!
Your precious sandwich won't save you now!
Aww, to bad it wasn't a pie eating contest!
What's a matter, Fat got your tongue!? Ahaha, laughter really is the best medicine!

Really, both videos are great, and almost every statement is outstanding!

I tried my best not to have any spoilers in my blog. Really, all I did was describe what was going on right before the first actual fight, which takes to up to an hour to get to. I just described most of the dialogue, which there is a lot of and it can take a while to get into, but still, that doesn't seem too much of a spoiler in my eyes.

Ah well, thank again for the recap, though.
