Ah, the final Monday of the year is behind us. Before I get started I'd like to publicly thank our wonderful team of reserve recappers who covered for me the last two weeks while work was kicking me right between the cheeks. SilverDragon in particular has been doing yeoman's work in making sure we didn't miss an update.

We're closing in on the end of the year, and that's often a catalyst for people to look back, take stock, and reminisce about the time gone by. It's also a time to look forward to the year to come, and people have been using their C-blog accounts to do both.

Did 2008 feel especially long to you? You're not just imagining things. In addition to the leap year day at the end of February, 2008 will have one additional Leap Second added before the astral odometer resets for the year. I recommend using that last extra second to play a WarioWare Microgame... or a reasonable facsimile, like Four-Second Frenzy.

A-GamingGoddess is playing through one of the early Tomb Raider games and writing about it. I've never played a TR game in my life, but this is quite well written.
A-This'd be better with some pictures to break up the wall of text, but it's clear some thought went into Saint Demon's list of the 10 worst videogame movies.


W-Not sure if this was from a contest, but Shipero got something pretty spiffy from Maxvest.
