C Blogs of 10/05/13 + mcgeeisms

Another one from this asshole? Yes, indeed. With some of the other Recappers busy or simply not available, I'm picking up the slack like your dad's underwear. I was planning on writing a bit about how poorly Rockstar seemed to have prepared for GTAO, but there's a couple of blogs that cover it fairly well. At the very least, I encourage everyone to give as much feedback as possible, and don't let up. You deserve what you paid for.

In other tangents, life is still one Simpsons reference after another. The new Treehouse of Horror premiered tonight, probably because they figured doing it in October was better than November. Besides a very cool opening by Guillermo Del Toro, the first act was okay, and that's it. It was a reminder that it needs to end soon and free up that time slot for something new...in all probability...Seth MacFarlane will get yet another show... FFS. Thank goodness for Bob's Burgers.
I also realize I shouldn't have watched it before writing up SATURDAY'S CAPS but that's neither here nor there.

A - taterchimp fell in love with EDF (welcome, brother!) and wrote about Insect Armageddon. He liked it so much that he did some 'Let's Plays' for it, with varying levels of technical success.

F - Weekend Warriors + a patch that didn't quite fix things

T - Roberto Plankton shares his thought and pictures made during Game City Vienna. There's even a cameo or two (of sorts) from other Dtoiders.

T - Skid Row Trash has some gripes & a cautionary tale from the stuttering Grand Theft Auto Online.

T - Another blog with some serious complaints about GTA Online; from drhuxtable. Get it together, Rockstar.

S - Kokopuff presents us with a selection of fan-made Team Fortress 2 t-shirts. Some of these designs are pretty good.
