Greetings, Destructoid.
I meant to post up a batch of YTMNDs tonight, but seeing as it's already 2:30 I believe I'll simply pass for tonight and make it up to you all next week. I spent the day cleaning and making minor improvements in my apartment-- it's surprising how engaging that can be, and I found it was past midnight before I remembered I had to do the recaps this evening. So- my apologies if this is a little more half-assed than usual.

Dr. Tran makes everything better.

*-Dtoid Artisans posted images of a brilliant Mario themed scarf. Sadly, crochet does not rank among my talents.
*-Stevil's Monthly musing looks at that most annoying of game cliches: the invincible locked door.
*-MegaStryke knows that if he posts his Off Brand Games feature on Mondays, I'll topsauce it. I am powerless to resist their quality. The bastard.
*-Shinryu108's blog about how important localization can be seems to be phasing in and out of existence. Read it while you can!

S-Tanukitsune went through a couple of FPS's to shrink his backlog this week.
M-Mechayakuza can't stand that (primarily) JRPG cliche, the Silent Protagonist.
M-Neveranything has little use for arbitrary boss fights in his Musing.
P-Drunkcast recorded episode 11 tonight.
P-Refused Classification episode 14 is now available.

W-Nilcam did a post-mortem on the King of Dtoid 2009 contest he's been running over the last month. Congratulations to the winners!

S-Calebyte's buddy had some trouble with an online order. I think I'd rather get a blank CD than a brick. Charlie Brown got a rock.

$-Arianol also let us know that Empire: Total War is half-price on Steam this week.

A- You know that Brentalfloss guy who puts words to all the NES games we grew up with? Kapitan Palo is working on cover art for his upcoming CD. Looking good so far!
A-Pendleton21 put some glowy beads to good use in making his latest perler sprite art.
A-Lotsa art today. SuitcoatAvenger posted some of his latest.
M-Diverse mans the turntables of dTunes this week. It's an esoteric mix to start out with, for sure.
M-Pixelpunx shared some chiptunes with everyone. Thanks, Pixelpunx!

V-KnuxSonic entered a video in the Unlock Xbox competition. Here it is.
C-It's a better first post than mine, for sure. Mine, however, was abysmal. A little more content would make it a lot better.
C- This call to arms for multiplayer Thexder Neo would have benefited from some more effort.
?-This is hard to classify. Edmund McMillan needs gall bladder surgery, but as an indie developer, lacks health insurance. Can you help out?

F-The banner's awesome, but that doesn't excuse this.
