Hey, everyone, how was your week? Mine was pretty cool, I didn't play much games, but my girlfriend came back from Ireland so I'm pretty much happy.

More World Cup news. After an abysmal display, England are out of the World Cup. I will say that it is a travesty that Lampard's goal was disallowed, but it still probably wouldn't have made too much of a difference. Oh well. Cue 40 years of "The Stolen Goal Scandal".

There were two games yesterday, Holland vs Brazil, and Uruguay vs Ghana. I personally found Holland vs Brazil a bit boring, but it was good to see somebody beat Brazil at last. Uruguay vs Ghana was just spectacular. It had everything really - goals, saves, handballs and penalties. It was sad to see Ghana go out but they had a really good chance to win the game which they sadly failed to take.

Finally, today was a pretty bog-standard day for the blogs. Good Topsauces, a ton of Wordtoid, and unfunny fails. Enjoy.
