Japanese and their fighting games...Lucky punks.
CatalystMan | 12:22 AM on 02.04.2008 11 comments

So the Japanese are getting a new fighting game for arcade/PS2 based off of one of my favorite animes/visual novels, Fate/Stay Night. It's made by the same team who did Melty Blood, but it is in 3d, so it's going to be hit or miss. Now I fancy myself a fightin' game elite, so I'm going to find a way to play this if it kills me.

yay! A new 3d fighter that isn't Fatal/Fake. As the name implies that game was pretty bad (glitchy). Buy this new game could possibly be awesome and maybe import-worthy.

if you were "fightin game elite" as you so fancy yoself youd be in the arcade sweating it up playing 3S. Not looking up obscure import garbage to waste your time on which will NEVER have a strong following or tourney presence.

Import the PS2 version.

I do tournaments. Not 24/7, but I still do them.. 3rd strike is good, but a slow priority match. There are plenty of better fighting games. Playing fighting games is not about the tourney or about popularity. It's about having fun and learning new systems. I rather have fun playing with my friends than having a hernia fighting Ken as Makoto in a room filled with sweaty tards. I may not be ranked, but I have played more fighting games than you, I have better basics, and can more easily adapt. I rather have knowledge of everthing, than a narrow minded view. Plus it's after 1 and I got work tommorow. Sleep.

Plus, I bet you can name all the fighting games you've played on one hand. I have to catalog all the one's I played.

i only play brawl and soul caliber and I bit my thumb at "balanced" and "hardcore" games.

With a dying breed like fightin' games, you gotta catch them all.

The thought that Arcana Heart was actually coming to America blew me away.

I already played Arcana. Kinda broken but I like it. I'm also very happy they're bringing it over.
