I know exactly what you mean. We had no problem at Best Buy on day one, in Jersey. We picked it up for my bro for Xmas, and today my aunt got it for her son, absolutely no problem. They were just trying to push sales, that's all. I suppose it's possible that the stock wont be replenished and you'll be left hunting one down in about 3 weeks, but who knows?
I bought mine at WalMart 12am on the 20th. I was the only one there. Went to Walmart later the next day.. still there.
I have been playing none stop, and think it's just the price that stops most people. Really can't wait till more people get it so I'll wait less for ranked matches.. or anything online for it. I was told by a few stores they got more 360 versions than PS3 (Understandably).
I heard the PS3 Stock of RB is really gimped everywhere.

If it weren't for the rampant peripheral (guitar) issues I've been hearing (and experiencing), I'd say that everyone needs to get off of their asses and buy this game for themselves or for their kids.
I have had a hard time trying to find Rock Band, but I know theres a Target right on the route home from work with some. Heres hoping!

I got mine from BB, but it was the second one I tried. Unfortunately, my blue drum doesn't work so EA is sending me a new one.
Well, I’m in Long Island, and the Best Buy near me said they sold out of PS3 and 360 copies of the bundle when the game was released on Tuesday (they also did a midnight launch on Monday night). Of course, they had plenty of copies of the game itself, but what’s the point of that, considering that you can’t buy the peripherals separately at this point?
