firstly, sorry in advance...long blog is long
also, lack of pictures is due to laziness
Game is full of games
i started my new job this week, at Game.
now, i applied for it for the usual reasons...desperation, lack of money, and a couple of fit girls working in there
so, i had my induction, which involved the usual horrible dvds of health and safety, and about not serving 12 year olds Saints Row 2, just in case it influences them to go out killing random people for respect
on that note...ever since i've been playing guitar hero, i'm convinced i can play the entire solo of Free Bird, but then when i pick up my actual guitar, i end up playing something with 3 chords. maybe there's more to this games influencing kids argument than i originally thought...
on Tuesday, i started my first proper shift. i say proper shift...they wouldn't trust us with the tills just yet. so after yet more health and safety advice, i got stuck in. Well, as much as i could while mindlessly staring at the girl who works there who's first words to me were,
"Hi, i'm bi-sexual by the way."
my job for the 4 hours, was the work the shop floor. Now, Game has a policy which states, "every customer should be approached within 2 minutes of their arrival to the store." Personally, if i was the customer, i'd have told me exactly where to go when i came up and said "
hello there, can i help you with anything?" to be fair to some of them, they did. however, there were a few that gave me a little bit of credit, and asked me for a specific game, or asked about the various Wii bundles.
However, my best moment of the day? I would estimate one customer, an elderly man, to be about 75 years old. Despite this, he managed to come out with a line that never gets old, and one that i have uttered many a time...
"Excuse me, i'm sorry to say this...but i need a Wii!"
Genius.
and now, usually i'd mention my Halo 3 online matchmaking/co-op campaign moment of the week. However, i haven't been online that much really, so i might have to skip it.
ahhh go on then, but instead it's replaced by something similar!
so, here's my:
Project Gotham Racing 4 online ranked race and/or offline idiotic A.I moment of the week!
just the one entry this week
and the winner is,
1) i was lagging behind in a 3 person race, the leader was milessss ahead. However, as i turned the last corner and overtook the person in 2nd, i saw that the leader had tried to spin round and finish in reverse in a virtual "f*ck you n00bs!"
in response, i passed him on the line and won by about 0.5 of a second.
unlucky...n00b.
and that's it from my second blog...a day late, but once again anyone who has taken the time to read all the way to the bottom...thank you. and here's your e-cookie*...

And get giving that old git a stone cold stunner. Yeah!
(i.e. capital letters and full stops?)
Justice...noted. Lack of proper punctuation was down to laziness on my part, I'll make sure to do it properly in future, as I am a Journalism graduate after all.
Calkulon...best comment ever. I shall reveal more about bi-sexual girl in the coming weeks as i get to know her better
Stay tuned.
