Tons of long hours of gaming on my 360, Wii, PS2, DS, Mac, PSP, Dreamcast, PS1, N64 and anything else I can get my hands on. I like shooters, but RPGs are where my passions lie. I will play just about anything though, unless its a sports title. Sports titles are okay, but I'd prefer to either play the sport IRL or just ignore it altogether. Also, racing games blow. Keep them away from me. Unless its Mario Kart. I know, it's cliche' and childish, but racing just seems boring to me unless I can shoot shells at people. I firmly believe that NASCAR would not suck HUGE if they implemented this. I'm definitely a huge tabletop gaming nerd as well.

Hello again, fellow 'toids. There is a pressing question in the back of my mind. Should I get a
PSP...again? I had one when they launched, and it was kinda cool. But the lack of impressive
games really killed it for me. Now, three years later, I need to know if its worth doing. So help
me, fellow gamers. You're my only hope.

There are a few titles of interest, but not really enough to warrant a purchase, IMO.

The Daxter+Family Guy bundle looks nice, but, well, yeah.

It's good if you're planning on using it for emulators and homebrew and stuff, but there aren't a ton of games worth getting for it. There are a few good ones, though.

I love my PSP for all the homebrew stuff it can do. I don't really play it a whole lot, but I don't think I could part with it.

Silent Hill: Origins, all those Metal Gear games, the Star Ocean remakes? I myself want a PSP, if only for Origins.

I was given one by a friend who wanted the Japanese red one (he lives there...) and I think it's pretty swell and all. Though I have a PS3 to help justify the swell-factor.

If you don't have such luxuries, there's only a handful of games I'd buy for it. Final Fantasy Tactics, Castlevania, and Ratchet and Clank are the big standouts. That's about it.

the only games Im interested in are games that were already released for snes but with fancy graphics. isnt there a gradius collection as well?

so yeah, snes and gradius are the main reasons to own a psp.

I can't remember how many times someone has posted a cblog asking this. But anyways:

It's great if you like Japanese RPGs and other little niche titles. And assuming you're not retarded and are going to get custom firmware on it, it's a mobile emulator from NES->PS1. It's not a crap system if you're into that type of stuff.
