About
Hi.

My real name is Brandon, and yes, I'm drunk.

I am a poor student living in Colorado playing the hell out of my Xbox.

Oh yea! I own a 360

As of now, I also own a NES, a N64, a PS2, and a Gamecube.

I believe that the greatest system made so far has to be the PS2 but feel free to bitch about that.

A few of my favorite games are:

Bioshock
The Legend of Zelda
Final Fantasy X
Gears of War
Halo

I love almost every genre known to man.

Is your life so empty that you honestly can't think of something better to do with these moments? Or are you so impressed with authority that you give respect and credence to all who claim it? Do you read everything your supposed to read? Do you think everything your supposed to think? Buy what your told you want? Get out of your apartment. Meet a member of the opposite sex. Stop excessive shopping and masturbation. Quit your job. Start a fight. Prove your alive. If you don't claim your humanity you will become a statistic. You have been warned........"

For those who don't know what Blender is, it is an incredible free 3d modeler/animator/game maker.

According to the official website, the new features to 2.48 include:

Realtime GLSL Materials
Bullet update + softbodys
Game logic updates
Grease Pencil
Sun, Sky, Atmosphere
Fluid Control
Coloured shadows
Shrinkwrap Modifier
New Python Editor
and more, plus a lot of bug fixes become

The above image is the main character in Blender's new open game project (codenamed Apricot). I've played the technical demo and and it looks fairly decent.

The other thing that I love about blender is that learning code and scripting is not required for the game engine! However, it does run on Python, which many consider to be a fairly easy language to learn.

Using Blender for over a year now, I must admit that it is the one other thing besides games and alcohol that I have become addicted to. I am also a sucker for free stuff, and this has to be some of the best freeware out there. Anyone that knows their way around in the 3d modeling world, or wants to learn it should check it out!

Sweet! Never heard of blender before and it's been a while since i messed with any 3d modeling, but for free maybe its time to get back into it...
I've been meaning to take Blender for a spin. Guess now would be a good time then, huh?
Thanks for finiding this =]
Better than having to buy maya or 3d max for my course
Blender is fucking amazing, dude. Two of my friends once used Blender to build a kick-ass greenscreen chroma key that kicked the shit out of the ones in After Effects and Final Cut Pro.
Ive never heard of this!

What an awesome program, I think I am going to give it a whirl right now.
