As of the creation of this post, I have wiped the stats on
Gametracker. While it doesn't keep as detailed of stats as HL-StatsX. It does keep track of the number of points a player accumulates, and the amount of time they spend on the server.
The contest will last until 5pm central, March 16th, and the rules are simple, the Destructoid reader with the most points accumulated by then will win a free game gift off of steam. There may also be a second prize for whomever spends the most time on the server, if the person with the most points is not the person with the most time spent.
Rules:
1) You MUST reply to this post with both your Steam Community ID (For Identification on Gametracker), and your Steam Account Log-in (So you can get your prize).
2) Sign-ups for the contest will end at 5pm cst March 9th, one week before the contest ends. I will reference this post in the usual copy pasta in the TF Tuesdays and Friday Night Fights posts.
3) Value of the game selected may not exceed $55 (US), if the winner wishes to they may selected several lesser priced games provided they do not add up to exceed the aforementioned amount.
4) Kor and I are not eligible as we are the sponsors :)
Anyone participating is encouraged to
POST YOUR STEAM ID in the
reserved slots list, this will prevent you from being locked out of the server when its full.
Players are also encouraged to enter the server when its empty, you can still accumulate points and time even with little or no people in the server. The map can easily be changed by using the 'nominate' command to pick a map, then rtv (rock the vote) commands in chat to change to that map.
You can view your stats
here at any time.
Good luck to everyone.

So basically Kor is willing to spend 55 bucks to keep his sentries intact. That's like buying gold off of IGE.
Seriously though, is the prize in USD or Canadian dimes?

Other than that gametracker just reads the points straight off the server info that you would get simple off clicking 'view info' in the steam server browser. I'm not sure if it translates directly or if it somehow goes through a formula, ie - 25 points in a half hour round = 5 points on gametracker.
Either way, it calculates everyone the same way, so straight points or not, the important thing is everyone is equal.

Booya!!!
SanityMask - 300 pts - 6 hours
Eschatos - 56 pts - 4 hours
Don't know what to tell ya except to play harder, there are others ahead of you with less time and more points.
Teta - ~120 - 2 hours
Game tracker apparently takes and saves only one bit of stats and thats what is publicly broadcast by the server. And it only puts out three things, a Name, connection time, and "frags" (In TF2's case, points).
It auto-scans the server every 2 - 3 minutes, so its possible if you quit in between scans that you miss out on points you may have made. Either way, its the same deal for everyone, unless of course gametrackers somehow hates you and contains a statement in the code to divide points by two if your name is Eschatos. ;)
That's if i'm not in audiosurf...
