If you have a Wii you probably will be playing Galaxy on Friday. However, if you don't have one or would like to take a break from it, the server will be locked at the regular time of 8pm cst.

So why is the server still named Dtoid? I thought you didnt want to give the community priority. Since, you know, the community matters more to a DTOID server then 25 newfags, amirite?

Yeah, is there any way to kick non-Dtoiders off when a Dtoider wants to play? Maybe by making those of us who play a lot on it admins, and we can just let people on if they want.

admins would ruin it. That would require admins to take up slots for admining.

Agreed with Yash, over-moderation ruins the best servers, not mention creating the whole 'dtoids only' angle would chase away new players, the smart/respectful kind, because some kids don't care if someone over the internets treats them like shit.

I'm not saying the moderation has to be intense, just that some people will be on, and if other dtoiders want on, they can ask someone to leave, and if no one obliges, they can kick. I doubt it'd be something that would happen very often.

Yash just has his panties in a bunch because I really don't want to implement some form of reserved slots with steamIDs. Which I feel is impractical given the size of the community, I'd almost have to code a plug-in to deal with it.

Admin logins will be coming sometime next week, if you need a slot, just PM someone on steam if you can't get in on the autojoin.

Maybe some "random newfag" will actually enjoy playing there and start visiting the site. If you want private circle jerks stick to XBL.

Sadly, I haven't played TF2 since I got CoD4 (PC), and now that I've got Crysis I don't know if I'll ever get back to it. I'll make an exception for this Friday though.

And CaffeinePowered, an alternate and happy way to fix this could be to increase the max player limit.
