Is it just me, or is the saturation of amazing games getting larger?

Thanks to the "new" E3, we have witnessed some truly fantastic games. SOme of the most notable so far in my
opinion, have been Mass Effect 2, Modern Warfare 2, God of War 3, Splinter Cell: Conviction, Assassins Creed 2,
and Dragon Age Origins. It seems to me that games are taking a step forward this year, perhaps not with release
dates (LOL) but in terms of focus on details, these games are creating more and more immersion. Games are
becoming more fluid, the gameplay has more weight to it, and they are really addressing problems with original
games. (Which is really important)

While it does feel like it's the year of the sequel, I can't help but notice how far these games have come, not only in
terms of graphics, but also gameplay. Assassins Creed 2 looks to be a much smoother game, there are a lot more
combat moves, choices to be made, and less gimmicky crap. Modern Warfare 2 looks like Call of Duty 4 on
steroids, which in my opinion is a great thing. If it aint broke, you better not try and fix it.

Anyways, what do you guys think about these new games?

It's not just you. I was considering writing an article about this very same thing after playing all the similar sequels (such as God of War 3).

FYI you're gonna get some folks here in yelling at you for having 2 blogs, just ignore them.

And most of the games look fine but you Modern Warfare does need some fixing(which thankfully they seem to be covering.)

Overall I don't really care about hype or anything because then you'll be disappointed I'll just wait till they come out and give them a whirl.

I dislike getting hyped for games, but I will be very surprised if I don't enjoy the mentioned games.

Also, what's up with the text? The lines are skipping or something.

@Kyo
New avatar! ah!

2 posts right next to each other though, that push other user's blogs down off the main site's listing? I'd recommend just putting a sentence at the end of this blog saying "check out this trailer (that's in his other blog) it looks generic". Then he'd get less shit about his "forum" blog, and he can hide it and get rid of the "2fer". It's win win.

Get yourself ready Mag. I'm about to switch avatars too, I think.

Real easy to think that, but there's bound to be a handful of duds, and that'll clear the schedule, I figure.

The 2nd-string titles this fall look promissing, I think. Way of the Samurai 3 could win a few hearts, and I've got a special place in my hype shelf for Heist, because I love a good caper.

I also think Scribblenauts for DS is going to shoot up on people's radars this fall.
