This is pretty much everything that I have acquired over the past sixteen or so years of gaming aside from some things I have loaned out to buddies.
Unfortunately I'm between apartments at the moment (my next lease doesn't start until July) and my parents have some extra space in the attic. I basically get a wall for all my things. My vidjagames, bed and closet is all there, the other three walls are covered in boxes and...well essentially crap. I figure between now and late July when I move into my new place it'll be nice to compare the gypsyish mess that is this place to the glory it will soon be.
Anyway, my collection...
Oh god...the wires.
Maybe one day I'll get that Dreamcast I've wanted since fifth grade.
...The Saturn games that I actually like. They sit atop a full box of crappy to mediocre to sports games that I don't.
Oh what a Cinderella story it will be.
I would kill for a cheap Sega Saturn Lightgun :(
That's a pretty cool set-up you got there! Your neck must hurt like crazy sitting on that floor , do you have a chair or a coach at least X/....?
Thanks. I try.
@KRAID
I gots Combat Evolved on my laptop.
The Sega relics are my pride and joy.
I have a big armchair/very cozy love-seat. I'm not sure what it is supposed to be but it works. I also have some lawn/beach chairs.
I'm classy like that.
Wait, is that Die Hard Saturn game in the "crappy to mediocre" pile? Is that the one that's like a beat-'em-up, and has QTEs where you run through hallways and knock dudes over? I have vague memories of that being kinda entertaining.
Maybe I'm thinking of an arcade version? I don't know, I'm confused.
It's more on the mediocre side. I can play it for a short while and be entertained it but I wouldn't necessarily call it good. I really don't like licensed film titles anyway. Of all the Saturn games I have I think I bought about 7 of them and the others my parents found for me at yard sales around when the Saturn tanked.
Croc is by far my favourite game that I own for it. Virtua Cop is pretty bad ass too.
I find your lack of next gen refreshing, usually these posts just make me feel even more behind the times so I appreciate that I'm not the only one who hasn't upgraded.
But I got a killer job now that makes a hell of a lot more then I ever have previously and when I saw the trifecta of what would become the first games I bought for my Wii (Brawl, No More Heroes and Umbrella Chronicles) and decided I needed me some of that.
But its not exactly the kind of money that would make me feel comfortable going out and buying a PS3 and HD TV.
Case in point: This was one of my birthday presents, but oh my god is it terrible.
I love seeing people's setups!
Nice collection you got there, man!
I noticed all the batteries laying around... Get a charging station for your Wiimote(s).
It helps your wallet. And the environment. =)
