I' ve been having the most wonderful time playing the Beatles Rock Band on the X-Box 360. There's nothing like being able to dish out all those classic hits from John, Paul, George and Ringo.

My original plan was to spend the money I had earned from waiting tables to buy a new pair of shoes and probably spend the money on my darned essay and some new console games. But then again, when I saw the last remaining set of this particular game, I just had to get it.

So there I was, term paper-less but still happy because of the Beatles Rock band. When I first popped in the game, I learned that (a) It wasn't fun playing this game all by your lonesome and (b) that the Beatles are still pretty cool no matter what format their on.

And because of this game, I suddenly felt a longing pain to visit my folks back in D.C. because I feel like I owe them a lot for introducing me to the world of the Fab Four and the influence that they have given the world.
