I just picked up an SNES on the cheap from a little brother's friend. Apparently his family got one near the absolute end of its lifespan since it is in excellent shape and is a remodeled design unlike the two my family ran through. It also came with composite cables, whereas mine were always coaxial.
I got two controllers and 8 games, most notable among the games for me is probably Kirby Superstar. Easily in my own top 3 of Co-op experiences to be had in gaming. Other notables include Donkey Kong country 2 and the Ubiquitous Super Mario World.
I got all that for $35. I thought it was a pretty good deal since everything's in perfect shape and it hadn't been touched in years. I think that in large part this was me apologizing to myself for selling our SNES years ago along with some off the best/rarer/most expensive games for the system today. Apparently I also sold my 6 controllers and the multi-tap. That, or they were thrown away since I can't seem to find them anywhere.
And let the semi-regular C-Blogging begin. Now I just need to spruce up my page. . .
I love you stille.
and yes, the snes rules
Not sucking is the key area I'll be focusing on.
