SPOILER ALERT: This blog contains spoilers from the game Final Fantasy III (VI) for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. Anyone who is currently working their way through Final Fantasy III (VI) should not read this blog, as it may or may not ruin memorable moments of the game. Anyone who has yet to play this game should probably not read this blog, and instead play through it themselves, as it is regarded as one of the
greatest RPG's
of all time. You have been
severely warned.
I started this play through out directly after the end of the intro, with Terra having regained control of her mind. This time around I fight my first real battle, drool over a scene involving moogles, watch as Figaro Castle sinks into the sand, and catch a glimpse of the legendary Sabin. Read on to hear the tale of a Final Fantasy III (VI) virgin.
I met Locke and watched as he found Terra. I was expecting emotional dialog introducing the two characters to each other. Instead I got five or six groups of baddies. Ouch. Had I been dropped in JRPG hell where every major event in the game takes 47 hours of grinding to even be passable? That's when I heard a noise (text) that turned my sad face into an enormous smile.
"
Kupo."
Moogles? Fucking moogles less than an hour into this game? I almost had sex with my computer.
The fights themselves were interesting, and I saved my party with Locke in it for the inevitable boss battle. Fun stuff. Also, moogles.
Having saved Terra's ass from being thrown in a lake just like any outstanding guy would do, I left Narshe and headed south. I wasn't quite sure where to go, but I did remember hearing something about a castle. Sure enough, Figaro Castle soon loomed on the horizon. After meeting the somewhat-charming Edgar and flashing back to a memory of his brother Sabin, I was introduced to Kefka. He hasn't had much of an impact on the story at this point, aside from lighting an entire castle on fire, but so far I love him as a villain.
I think Locke summed it up best when he said, "I think that guy is missing a few buttons."
This picture is epic.
After a grueling battle with two Magitek Battle armors, it was time for me to save and write a blog post. Sadly, that's all for today, thanks for reading. I'm sorry for the brevity of this blog, but I haven't had much time to game lately. (All screenshots taken by me. Yay!)
And yeah, at least you're playing it.
Enjoy.
Yeah, I never understood what the fuss about Kefka was until later on in the game. Also, even if their are 950 parts, I'll read all of them, hahaha.

Im so envious that I can't play this again for the first time.
also, the only reason chad loves sabin so much is because he has a crush on him. SEACREST OUT!
