I've been a little caught up with school work lately and haven't really been finding the time needed to produce my award winning blogs... *cough* Although I have been thinking a lot about the music and artwork in games, I'll save that for a night when I'm thinking a little more clearly.
But the other night I came to the realization that I have a lot of pets with video game names. So here goes!
Although I must admit that most of these were named by my partner in crime, it still applies.
First up, Sonic and Tails, but in opposite order...
Unfortunately now we're down to just Tails so here he is snoozing
And don't forget Knuckles (he's my rescue, he showed up at my house starving to death and was accidentally let into my house by my Grandmother. Now he's fattened up and a smug bastard...) He's also kind of a spikey cat so the name fits.
Next, Jet Set Radio Future!!!!
He needs his own theme song still, perhaps the Jet Set Medley
And finally my Sweetheart Jaguar, who got his name from Space Channel 5, so that when people ask his name I can give him the same introduction Jaguar is given in the game... It would have been Gum for a little girl rat, or Jaguar for a boy...I got a boy and the rest is history
Just be thankful it wasn't Space Michael

I also have an abundance of other pets who have typical names... Two others I will mention, are my fish Fuji and Skeletor.
So.... you are a fan of the Dreamcast?
@taumpytears
Silly, it's quite obvious that she's a Nintendo person. :P
Space Michael.
Heh.
DAURGH PICTURES.
Actually I am a Nintendo person too, its just something about Sega I guess
Jet Set Radio Future!!!
That's your horses name? Fricken awesome!
Nice pets.....Rover.
Woah...you own a horse and a rat? Quite a combo. Sounds like a Disney movie. Chris Kattan can do the voice of Jaguar?
Should have named him Space Micheal... would have been the happiest pet EVER. Glad to see someone likes Space Channel 5 as much as I did, lol, I was a bit worried.
I quite like your blog, actually, one I do regularly read.
And wow. We do have one name in common, though. I did name one of my children Skeletor. There is also Evilyn, Beastman, Alkatraz, Bastille, and Lochlan-Caleigh.
...
Okay.
They're imaginary children.
Thank you very much Koobert
And I actually laughed out loud when you said you named your child Skeletor, even if it turned out to be imaginary, started off my morning with a chuckle
