We all remember the days when Tony Hawk games were the bomb.com and we couldn't get enough of them.

Well, times have changed and Activision wants to rape your insides by stuffing so much Tony Hawk down your throat you will be pooping skateboards and mohawks. However, some people have been faith Hawkites and play each game every single year. I'm guilty of this actually, that's why I decided to post today's deal.

Tony Hawk's Proving Ground is only $15 and to be honest, it's the only Tony Hawk game I haven't played. Now, I realize that if I did buy this I would get a serious tongue-lashing by resident Amazon deal-bringer and writer extraordinaire, -D-.

For that reason alone I will not be partaking, but by all means, you go ahead and enjoy what I cannot. What -D- won't let me...

I remember playing this demo and being like "hmm I may buy it" then the Skate demo came out and "I might buy it" turned into "fuck tony hawk games"

There's a reason I can buy this for ~$12 from Target's clearance bin: It sucks and Skate. killed it.

Actually, Proving Ground is pretty damn good. Character creation sucks, but the game and level design itself is pretty solid.

This cblog makes me a sad panda. Proving ground has its problems but its an extremely fun game. I love the addition of nail the manual and nail the grab, they're so much fun. Seriously guys, the demo for this game doesn't do it justice, pick this game up, you won't be sorry.

I haven't been able to get into a Tony Hawk game since Underground came out. Actually, skateboarding games in general lost me when they went to the open world format. I liked it when I didn't have to work to play the game by traveling all over a map.
