It's not a secret. World of Warcraft causes people to leave their jobs, loved ones, and basically quit "real life." I've described in some of the @Amazon posts what my WoW addiction was like. However, after much thought and debate, I've decided to break my year and a half long sobriety, and return to Azeroth.
But like any awesome sequel with a worthy tagline, "This time, he's bringing a friend." I've decided to not go my journey alone. I'll be taking my faithful companion
-D- with me. Together we are going to chronicle what the return to Azeroth is like and if that mary jane is just as sweet as I remember it to be.
So I'm making this post to tell you all this and to ask if anyone wants to come along on a journey of greed, debauchery, fear, and friendliness. I actually don't know if anyone plays WoW that is active on Dtoid, but I mean, the odds are like 100% that someone does.
Also, I dont like how all the "fun stuff" is at the end :(
Good luck on your second try.
Highly doubt I'll return until WOTLK comes out, and even then Im not so sure.
We love you!
Also MrSadistic wins with that comment.
Never made it to lvl50... i know I fail, but I had fun with the game, thats it, no addiction.
I got friends that were completely into it, now they are better, but for them is like a drug... im inmune.
also i wanna play AAoC but i dont have the hd space!!
And I did it to play Age of Conan. I am so bored of World of Warcraft, and Age of Conan is the holdover for me until Warhammer Online comes out... then I'll probably be addicted to that for 3 years
I never could get into WoW, even with some of my close friends playing with it with me.
@Riser:
NOOOOO PLEEEASSSSEEEEEEE
I played for a month, while my Xbox was in the shop, and I quit soon after that. I like pussy so I can't play this game for longer than a month.
