This isn't a joke or some kind of attempt at flamebait. I rented and beat both (well, about to beat Conan) and I can truly and honestly tell you that Conan for the 360 is a better game than Heavenly Sword for the PS3. I plan to write up a review for the game but I had to get this off my chest of how good Conan really is.

The only criticism that I can give it is that it is a BLATANT rip-off of God of War. I mean, from the moves, to the story, to the power ups, to the gore, to the women, to the special powers - the game is a complete clone of God of War. But other than that and some weird bugs and collision detection issues, the game is good.



I was so bored with Heavenly Sword and couldn't wait for it to be over. The story was stupid, the moves were limited, I dunno, I was just bored the whole time it felt like. Conan, on the other hand, is very satisfying. It has to be in the top 10 most gory games ever amongst the likes of Soldier of Fortune, Gears of War, and Resident Evil 4.



In closing here I'll say that if this game had gotten any mainstream media attention...you would never had heard the end of it. The game would have sold 1m units on hype alone. There are topless women all over the place, in game and in cut-scenes and the gore is brutal. You can decapitate, dismember, split in half, split in half vertically, disembowel; you can do it all.
