There was a time when Microsoft was making internal changes to how they repaired RRODs, and during that time there were horror stories of 360s taking as long as a month or more to get repaired.
From what I understand, it doesn't take that long anymore. My question to the community is...
For those of you who had your 360 replaced by Microsoft in 2008, how long did it take to get back once you sent it away?
Please list your location and the total turnaround time for 2008 replacements only.
In case you didn't know, I like to Rick Roll (I'm assuming it's no surprise at this point so I'm putting my penis and testicles on the table)...
I also was the brains behind the Rick Roll in the Dtoid Rap song, but the head community members like Snaileb and Tazar convinced me to "Chocolate Rain" them instead...
Millions of people love Devil May Cry 4, but I didn't like it very much at all.
Am I going to tell you to rent it to make up your own mind? No, I'm going to suggest that you never play it. Even though so many people love it for their own reasons, you should ignore that and focus on the things that I do not like about it.
You could be missing out on one of your favorite games of all time, but that's not important. What is important is that you focus on my opinion.
Left 4 Dead is an Xbox 360/PC exclusive, right? Not only was the Valve game announced as being exclusive to the 360/PC, but Gabe Newell has been very vocal about his displeasure in Sony's big black beast.
Well, in the 1/18/08 1UpYours podcast right around the 69:50 mark, Bryan Intihar stated that Left 4 Dead would be coming to the PS3. His exact words were, "I don't think the PS3 one (Left 4 Dead) has been announced but I know it's coming out."
This is obviously just a rumor, but it's interesting to hear. This is my most anticipated game of 2008. It was originally scheduled for a November 2007 release, but was recently pushed back until late 2008. Was this because it is in development for the PS3 as well or was it just another normal Valve delay to work the kinks out? If true, will it be a timed exclusive?
Nintendo DS and Capcom teamed up to promote pedophilia when Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations was released.
This discovery was made by Joe Burling on Christmas morning. While trouncing through the trial of Luke Atmey, a mysterious voice accused the judge of sticking his penis in young child.
Nintendo and Capcom declined to comment on the story. Now, only one question remains...
OK, so I am browsing GameTrailers.com and I see Ron's Kain and Lynch review as one of the featured vids. Now, we all (most of us) knew that Ron's vid was a featured vid and linked on the front page, but what took me by surprise was that the video is currently rated a 38.7 out of 10.
I'm not the only one who found this strange (or ironic). Just check out the comments on his video.
Is this a clever ploy that Ron thought up and is giggling about at his computer now? Did the terrorists finally break through the firewalls? Did Snaileb divide by zero? Is this the result of NamelessTed's worthlessness? Only Justin Timberlake knows for sure.
I argue nothing but this simple fact: MGS4 will not sell 1 million copies in the first 24 hours. I am not saying it will or will not sell consoles. I am not saying it is or is not a great game. I am not saying the PS3 sucks or rocks. I am simply stating what will become a fact.
If you disagree, let me know in a comment and I'll call you out when it doesn't happen.
I had a Vectrex in 1982 and I've been gaming ever since... My real name is Joe Burling...
