Hello, this is an intro blog.

Hello!

My name is Jamie. I've been a reader of Destructoid for a few years or so, and I feel I'm probably long overdue on actually joining the community, so here I go.

I'm 18 years old and I live in the famously sunny and tolerant Scotland! (It has little to no sun or tolerance.) I can be pretty lazy and I daydream constantly.

I like to (fall of of my) skateboard and I'm in a supercool band called The Fantanas. My favourite bands ever are Arctic Monkeys, Foo Fighters and I Fight Dragons, and Community and Doctor Who are the best TV shows ever.

I started gaming at the age of 4 (I think...) when my dad came home with an N64 for me. My fondest memories are of playing Mario 64, Ocarina, Majora or Goldeneye and just escaping the world around me. I feel like I owe a lot to my N64, it let me explore another world and be who I wanted to be, getting me through my kind of crappy early life. I maintained a streak of buying only Nintendo consoles until I bought my 360, and I can't help but feel my loyalty to Nintendo wane after the horror of being a 3DS Ambassador.

I have an undying love for Zelda, Pokemon and The World Ends With You and the Ace Attorney series above all else.

I'm bad at talking about myself, but I'm hoping to start religiously blogging and hopefully my personality will start to come through as I do.

Anyways, this has been an intro blog, I'm sorry if it was terrible. I look forward to attempting to add to the fantastic CBlogs whenever I happen to be struck with miraculous inspiration...
