I like it.

MS reserves the right to ban anyone they want for any reason. So it's up to MS and Rockstar to decide what they'll do for anyone they catch breaking street date.

And if you were that concerned about your friend, you wouldn't have told us about it. We can view your friends of friends lists you know, because they're totally public right now. I don't need to post his GT because it's not going to change anything about him getting caught or not, but you just basically outed him in public.

Also, achievements still aren't live or activated, so he's wasting his time if he's seeking bragging rights or something.

I doubt it, for all MS knows he could have bought the game from an EB, and since everyone who works at EB has Down Syndrome he'd be unknowing of the proper release date.

Same thing happend when Halo 3 was sold a little early. Nobody got banned.

Who cares? And he deserves to not only get fired, and BANNED from xbox live. He deserves a fine, I think its total BS when people abuse their jobs to get/play shit early when they knowingly violate the law. Oh well.

It's not illegal to play-- only sell. I used to work in an HMV so I know the deets.

dvddesign, the thing is this here is exposure, but not MASS exposure-- mostly only read by community members, and the chances that one of them is R* or M$ security is slim to none, and I'm sure the dtoid editors won't bother to "break" this on the front page. and even if they do, I hope they'll keep my name out of it. and out of the 100ish people whoread this, i assumed only 1% would bother looknig him up, and that 1% is you, so i didn't REALLY put him in any more danger than he put himself in by logging onto live, know whati mean?
