I agree, the new ad campaign looks much more promising.
More energy, more game footage... it's like they've finally hit their stride in the advertising apartment.
...seriously, did anyone ever figure out the whole creepy baby thing?
I'm sorry, since when is a commercial any cause for excitement?
And your link takes me to an Uncharted trailer (which looks waay sweet.)
Yeah sorry, I just changed it to the right link.
Well it shows that Sony is aware that they need to show off their goods, and not just assume that everybody will buy PS3.
@ vexed alex:
When you consider where they started, this is a big improvement. I liked the ad featuring the Ravens and the Sixaxis, but besides that there was much to be desired.
I just saw the new Ratchet and Clank: Futre + PS3 commercial during the Cavaliers/Mavericks NBA game on ESPN. It does a good job of reminding people that the cost of entry now has been lowered to $400. Good to see Sony pushing software more than the hardware - finally.
P.S.: Has there been a single PS3 commercial that explains the existence of the Blu-Ray player on all PS3s. Wouldn't it help to point that out?
The longer version of the 30 second spot does, in what I feel to be in a flashy manner.
ads were lovely...
kinda makes me almost not want to sell my ps3...
almost...
Not bad. No doubt the boys over at sonydefenseforce will be blowing each other for days over that commercial.
