About

Oh, hi there. Didn’t see you enter. Anyways, welcome to my humble little blog. For those of you not familiar with who I am, the name’s Brian. I’m 24 years old and hail from Findlay, Ohio. I work at the local newspaper here as a copy editor, putting my four long years of college to actual use. Kind of. I think.

For those of you who might recognize me from elsewhere, I work as Assistant Gaming Editor over at Blogcritics Gaming and as Features Editor over at Tomopop. It's a lot of work, but it's worth it because I get to do a lot of cool shit with a lot of cool people.

I've been gaming since the relatively young age of around 3 and I've played plenty of games, both good and bad. I'm continuously expanding my gaming collection, which has become more of an archive in recent years as I'm focusing on collecting older, less well-known titles. You'd honestly be surprised on what people are missing out on in bargain bins...

Other than gaming, I love anime, manga, sports, movies, TV, and a whole lot more. I also happen to have something of a legendary love for Cammy, to the point that I am the site's unofficial official Cammy fanboy. And yes, I do play as her in Street Fighter and do so quite well, too.

Also, I am Chad Concelmo's B.F.F., my prize for coming in first in The Great Retro Quiz .18 - ActRaiser. Accept no substitutes. Not even Aerox.

Word has started to spread onto Kotaku and a handful of other notable game blogs about a post at EventHubs concerning Super Street Fighter IV Arcade. Among the changes that apparently are confirmed from a number of test locations are some move changes, such as Cammy's normal moves are easier to combo with now, but Tiger Knee (instant) Canon Strikes are no longer possible. Which PISSES ME OFF.

But more importantly, those test location cabinets apparently have two new characters: Street Fighter 3's twins, Yun and Yang. Now, this is good for me for one reason: one of my Street Fighter 3 characters was Yun (who I admit I originally picked because I liked his hat), so having him in the mix will be nice to see. Still, though, would be nice to get Skullomania in. Or are we still pretending the EX games never happened, Capcom?

In any case, I might need to find an arcade cabinet of this somewhere around here. And by somewhere around here, I mean "The closest one will probably be in Chicago." *sigh*

There is still a lot I don't know about fightan' games apparently. I like the other guys hair though, it's like he just walked through a wind tunnel.
Check out the SSFIV thread in the forums, Bloo is losing his shit over details like this every day.
I'm super anxious to play the third game. Never tried it against other real players, nor any of the strikes. Just a couple tries at regular Street Fighter 3 with the super big Zangief.
Haha, will do. :)
It was confirmed that they were in it on SRK a few days ago I can't link because I fail at BBCode
Yeah, word had spread onto Kotaku and other notable gaming blogs about this topic. On September 1st.

@Dexter:

D'oh. I am slow.
It's okay, it happens to all of us sometimes.
