So the day was September 25th, a day you should all remember. The release of Halo 3. Unfortunately for me, I ordered it in western washington and due to shipping I wouldn't get it until the 27th. So here I was, not going to class on the 27th because I was just too fucking excited to concentrate on anything. Post always comes at noon, so I knew it would be here within 20 minutes or so. Just to pass time, I decided to try the new tony hawk demo. BAM. Red Ring of motherfucking Death. I figured, hey, its a glitch. I'll restart. BAM, checkerboard screen and more RROD. Losing my temper, I managed to sort of destroy my VGA cable. Just when my rage was at its peak, the door bell rang. It was fucking halo 3 legendary edition.

If any of you believe in a god, something like this would make you reconsider.

Not a big deal, I just had to borrow a friends 360. day was not completely ruined, just my 360.

So then the following monday I decided to call up MS and get a replacement. But to my luck, the damn 360 no longer had the RROD it just froze at the startup screen every single time. According to the rep on the phone, 360's will only be replaced if you have the RROD. So what do I do? I wrap the fucker in a warm blanket and leave it on for about 7 hours. That did it, now the thing won't even show a picture at boot.


Off goes my 360 to MS, and 2 weeks later my 360 comes back. I open it up, guess whats inside? GHOST RECON ADVANCED WARFIGHTER! An amazing game that I unfortunately never picked up. But guess what else? The second 360 they sent me did not fucking work! yes, the dumbasses at MS sent me a broken 360. This time however, it was not a RROD. Every game I insided I received a screen that told me to insert the disc in a 360 console if I wanted to play it.

Fuck.
Fuck.
FUCK.


Well now my 360 is back in the mail, and hopefully I'll be getting a new one this week. This time it had better fucking work.
