Who are we? Brainlazy is a trio of geeks of various flavors, dedicated to that most noble of human endeavors, wasting time. Games, comics, videos, blogs... we'll take a stab at anything if it seems like it will be entertaining and we can find the people to help us pull it off.

What Does BrainLazy Do? Brainlazy is what happens when three guys with too many interests and too little focus decide to make a website. It is what happens when you decide to record what you do in your spare time. It is what happens when your main skills all center around avoiding real work.

How could you define BrainLazy?
Brainlazy (BRANE-lay-zee)
 1. (adjective) The state or quality of being too tired or unmotivated to use an otherwise functional mind.
 2. (proper noun) A company formed by three dorks with too much time and too little talent, dedicated to wasting it's time and yours with Reviews, Blogs, and whatever else they can think of.
3. (noun) The next website you should bookmark.

UPDATE! In-Depth Analysis of Killzone 2 Controls!

Hey what's going on guys. I've been getting a lot of comments here and moreso youtube on how the controls aren't a problem.

There was a couple of solutions posted on Killzone.com so I did my own analysis with a high-speed camera. I took footage at 210 FPS and than counted the frames afterwards to determine if there is any discrepancies between different display options.

Also, I have a tip on how to minimize the controller lag to nothing. Check it out. Hope you enjoy it!

Wow, good work - it looks like you've tracked it down to a problem with the optimization of the game. The fact that the game controls worse at higher resolutions is unacceptable, they need to fix that shit if possible.

jesus christ! that was really smart. i hope you linked it on the kz2 forums so they could see it. my only issue with the game is the spawn points need to be quicker in choosing them and the grenade lag or not throwing one when i press it down. i believe it all will fixed, i mean just look at warhawk when it first came out, there were massive issues with about everything in the game and after a month most of them were fixed and kz2 is a much bigger game than warhawk. warhawk's online stability is about the best i've ever seen in online game, i've only been glitched out once maybe twice, i already been glitched out of kz2 once and have yet to see any network lag.

The settings discrepancy is interesting, but the thing you mention at the end is something I had already noticed. Slow movements don't seem to have the heft of quick motions. I'm also playing with game mode on, which apparently cuts down on some of the TV processing and the image response time improves as a result.

As long as you're testing things, try that.

I might try this when I get back home tonight.

I still want GG to open up the controls so I can map 'em. A week of playing, and L2 for crouch + L1 for Zoom is not comfortable/efficient for me.

GG Patched the game today. Some are reporting the auto-aim shotgun has been tweaked and the controls have been tweaked as well.

I'll test later.

Yeah this was interesting to see. I don't have a PS3, but I now more fully appreciate the responsive controls in the games I play.
