You can write a blog but you don't know how to change your avatar? Goddamn it fine I'll help you:
Click on the avatar in the upper corner of the page and then go to the profile section of your blog and copy paste the link to your avatar where it says to.
There you go. Now for the love of god hide this.

Frankly, having to link to a website one is pretty poor. I have plenty on my PC, so I really don't understand why, I can't add one from there. Its only a pic, not huge at all. If this would require such files to be processed for any spam/viruses etc, then so be it.
This is why my avatar is blank, because I'm protesting crappy avatar options on Dtoid. Please fix this.
