Hey all. When I go to bump up a community blog article, I often end up having to resize your user avatars. For everyone, actually, would it be possible to resize your avatars to 70px wide?

Basically, what I do is I resize your avatars, and then host them here on dtoid by creating a post, not setting it live, and attaching all your images to a gallery. Eventually, we'd like to host all of the avatars here on the site, but since we can't easily enforce a wide-scale avatar resizing, then I just ask you all to help me out a bit. It'd be much appreciated!

Has the avatar proportions changed? Because in the profile menu it still lists the old 65x65 dimensions being used.

Well, just check how big the avatar you upload is. When you're on the clogs normally, it auto-shrinks the avatars to a reasonable size, but it doesn't actually change the file sizes.

Neonie and Zac, I've changed yours manually and they're now hosted on dtoid. If you guys do want me to host yours on the site, just send me an email at brad [at] destructoid [dot] com with your avatar attached, and I'll take care of it.

How can you not have the software to resize an image? It's free. (Windows version linked for the relevant 98% of the world.)
