dude what?? thats ridiculous. put it on an easier difficulty or something so you don't have to memorize the whole fucking field for every play you have.
How did your madden IQ setup? My passing was a bit shy of all pro and ive had good press coverage on me, but not many interceptions.

Maybe you are so damn good that game has tailored the difficulty to harder than All-Madden or whatever. You are now playing on the difficulty "All Brett Favre." That should be a difficulty since Madden loves Favre so much. You should have played real shitty during the IQ test so that the difficulty is hella-easy.

Well, this is a bit weird. My Madden IQ was initially over 600. I didn't think to record the exact number, because frankly, I assumed the system wasn't busted. After three games, it now sits at 560 (which means I can actually complete a pass). Just for fun I set the game to All-Pro and I just blew out the Vikings 40-something to zero. Way to hilarious.
@JDUB28 - I was rolling with the Ravens. I realize that Smith's accuracy really isn't anything to write home about, but 12 INTs is a bit much.

Yeah, I played the PSN demo, and at the end of the Madden IQ test, my IQ was somewhere in the low-to-mid-600s (maybe around 630 or something). I think I reached All-Madden (the last set of bars) on all things except pass defense.
After that, I had a pretty good percentage of completing the Super Bowl XLII Madden Moment, but I still failed a good part of the time. We'll see.

I knew this game was going to be broken ... I just didn't know where. It's a cool mini game EA has now with each iteration of Madden. Spot our glitches and game crippling snafus!!

it sounds like a result of the skewed difficulty as a result of the madden IQ. many of the reviews state that the offensive tests are too easy and the defensive tests are too hard.
I think it adjusts your Madden IQ after each game. maybe after a game or too, the difficulty will even out. let us know

And now you'll understand why I griped about your NCAA 09 review. That game has more problems than Madden so far.
The "adaptive AI" has already been picked apart by users who had copies earlier on. Most people are playing on a default setting (Rookie/Pro/All Pro/Madden) than using the adaptive AI.
For example I scored the same as Samit on the test. Pass defense was horrible. But the run test was easy as hell. Thus the gameplay was all sorts of weird. 2 yd gains if you're lucky, but 8 picks since my defense was being enhanced.
And that is what is happening. Based on your scores, the game helps or hinders your players (think of it as someone tweaking the human sliders in the background). The CPU AI isn't changed.
Try a few games at All-Pro or Madden level and see if it helps any.
And ignore what you're about to see. Which was on Madden level:

MOGG - I haven't dove into Head Coach yet, but the basic word I've gotten from people online that I trust is that Head Coach fixes all the issues that Madden's franchise mode has:
Draft
Madden - Based on simmed seasons, little to no defensive players taken in first round/top 10. Teams don't draft based on what they need.
Head Coach - Teams draft what the team needs
Madden - Free Agents are left on the table. User reported Peyton Manning being an unsigned free agent. Users report workaround that you have to make an offer to get the CPU to start bidding on FA.
Head Coach - You go to a screen for free agents. All interested teams bid and you see teams drop out of the bid war etc.
